Section 301 Exclusions Extended and Expiring

Dear Valued Customer,

 

On May 30, 2024, the United States Trade Representative (USTR) published a notice in the Federal Register announcing the current 429 product specific exclusions scheduled to expire on May 31, 2024, will be extended through a transition period of June 14, 2024, under heading 9903.88.67 and 9903.88.68.

 

The USTR determined that 164 Section 301 exclusions will be extended through May 31, 2025. These exclusions are listed in Annex C by product description. To utilize this exclusion, it will need to be identified under heading 9903.88.69. Annex D of the notice outlines the 265 exclusions that will be terminated on June 14, 2024, when the transition period ends.
